Red is evoked by light consisting predominantly of the longest wavelengths of light visible by the human eye, in the wavelength range of roughly 630–740 nm.
Wavelengths longer than this is called infrared, and cannot be seen by the naked eye. Red is used as one of the additive primary colors of light, complementary to cyan.
Red is such a powerful color, it provides emotion and a great emphasis on detail. With a dark, gray color scheme – red can be used to emphasize text, navigation menus and more. Some designers decide to create a full blown website with bright red colors. It has a strong visual impact which can definitely get people’s attention making it one of the most used colors out there.
In this post, I will feature some stunning and inspiring red website designs to help you enhance your ideas.
