With only a few days left to Christmas Eve waiting time may seem endless for children and the young at heart who anxiously await the annual visit from Santa Claus.
According to the legend Santa Claus is a large, overweight man with a long white beard and a deep, heartfelt laughter – Ho ho ho! He is often pictured wearing a red coat, with white collar and cuffs, white-cuffed red trousers, and black leather belt and boots. He is said to be living in the North Pole, where a large number of elves helps him with making toys and other presents to all the well-behaved children around the world. Every year on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus and his 9 reindeer’s lead by Rudolph, visits all of the well-behaved children. Santa Claus crawls down the chimneys with his gift back, to put gifts into the Christmas stockings by the fireplace. It is a tradition for children to put a glass of milk and a plate of cookies by the fireplace for Santa to enjoy on his onward journey. As he visits many homes and many children during Christmas Eve, he gets a lot of milk and cookies – and according to the legend that is why Santa Claus is a bit voluminous!
In this post, we are sharing with you some of the creative Santa Claus illustrations portraying him in different situations such as in his workshop, together with Rudolph and much more. You will also find images with a different take on Santa Claus such as Santa as a well built warrior or a fearsome creature. I hope that you will find this article inspiring or otherwise entertaining. Don’t hesitate to share with us your thoughts on these Santa Claus portrays. We are also encouraging you to share this post with your friends. Enjoy!
