One of the strongest trends in modern web design is the use of large image and content sliders just below main navigation on the front page of business style websites. Sliders have evolved greatly over the years and do a lot more than simply swapping images. Modern sliders have layers, animated in and out-effects, cool slider transitions etc. This means that content sliders are not only great for featuring important content on limited space. They also have the ability to catch visitor’s attention and make an exceptional visual wow experience.
I recently posted a collection of WordPress themes that all have amazing full width sliders integrates. If you are looking for slider design inspiration this post will be a good start and who know… you may find the perfectly matching theme for your website. Another option for adding sliders to WordPress is to use slider plugins for WordPress. In addition, if you are a bit technical you can also use jquery slider plugins and do the coding yourself to integrate the slider into your website. Most sliders you see on websites are based on scripts like these.
In this article, I have collected websites that all make great use of sliders in their designs. These examples serve as great examples and help you get an idea of the many possibilities. Please help me, share the article on social media, and take a minute to leave a comment.

While using sliders in web design, especially when it used in banners, we can make sure about it’s optimization, and timing between two slide rotations and the text that will be friendly to search engine and easy to read by an user.
Thanks Lars, interesting to see how business could make great use of sliders in their designs. I would have to hire an expect to do this on our behalf I think.
