The amount of time that goes into creating a great looking logo can be overwhelming for even the most experienced logo designer. Even though the job is well described coming up with the perfect design still demands you sketch out lots of different designs before your and your client finds the one that fits the product perfect.
One of the best ways to kick start a new project is to search the logo galleries for inspiration or even search the www for inspiration on colorful logo design, examples of symmetrical logo design or whatever fits your current assignment. In addition, you can follow some logo tutorials to get new ideas and learn some techniques.

I also sometime do logos
but always try to make good research, usually on logopond,
but You gave me a good alternative method for search, is this list sorted by good/bad ? I think there will be a few of them worth to see, because many logos are weak in to -> imo :)))
